About Me

Welcome to Kasey’s Kitchen!

I’m Kasey and this is where I’ll be sharing everything I do in and out of the kitchen!
You will find a combination of recipes, restaurant/product reviews, and DIY projects that will hopefully make your life even more delicious!

I am head over high heels for food! I am a self-admitting “Pasta-holic”, I’ll put Balsamic Vinegar on almost anything and as much as I like gourmet desserts, I'm a sucker for McDonald's hot fudge sundaes.

I have been whipping up delectable dishes in the kitchen since I was a kid. Combining ingredients and trying new concoctions became my favorite hobby at a very young age. I used to pretend I had my own cooking show and even conned my parents into shooting my very first episode at the age of 10. I'm sure the footage will resurface and provide E! some quality content in the future.

I attended Emerson College in Boston where I received my degree in Broadcast Journalism and concentrated in Television. I knew I had a knack for this cooking thing when all the sports anchors were waiting in the control room after my cooking demos to be taste-testers! That's when I started my own online cooking series called "Kasey's Kitchen", making fun and affordable recipes to share with my fellow classmates.

Since graduation I have been working on a number of culinary-related projects including a cooking tour with celebrity-chef Rick Tarantino, development of a culinary sitcom and currently blogging for Clear Channel's The Dish, FabFitFun, and PopSugar.

As an East Coast native, I recently traded in Clam Chowdah for California Rolls back in 2011, making a home in Los Angeles with my husband Jay, who enjoys frighteningly large amounts of red meat, sarcasm and hockey. We also are wranglers of two ferocious cats, Mya & Chloe. They will cuddle you to death, I swear.

So here’s the deal. I want to build Kasey’s Kitchen into a “Cooking Community”, so be sure to follow me on Facebook and Twitter, post your own pictures and share your recipes! I’m also a super "pinhead", so my Pinterest boards are overflowing with delicious inspiration. Oh, and don’t forget that food looks better with filters, so you can find me on Instagram too!
